Register Annotated XML Schema  (DB2)

Use the Register Annotated XML Schema window to register the annotated XML schema in the XML Schema Repository (XSR).

To open the Register Annotated XML Schema window:

XSR name
The registered name of the XML schema file in the XML Schema Repository. This field is filled in automatically with the name of the registered XML schema or XML schema file that you selected in the Select XML Schema Source window.
Owner
The name of the DB2® relational database schema in which to store the annotated XML schema file. If you do not specify a value in this field, the XML schema is stored in the default database schema. The name of the default database schema is the user ID with which you created the data connection.
Comment
Type one or more comments about the annotated XML schema. The comments that you type here are shown in the Comment property in the Properties window.
Schema location
The location of the schema in which to find the references that belong to the default XML namespace that is defined in the annotated XML schema. This field, which shows the value of the schemaLocation attribute in the <schema> element in the XML schema file, is filled in automatically.
Decomposition
If this value is True, the annotated XML schema can be used to decompose the data in XML documents. The map link sources that are defined in an annotated XML schema are used to extract data from XML documents. The extracted data is stored in the relational database columns that correspond to the map link targets in the annotated XML schema.
