Import
Use the Import window to select columns from one or
more IBM database tables to import into the result set definition
of an SQL or SPL procedure.
You can also use the Import window to select columns to import into
an SQL procedure, SQL function, or table definition.
To open the Import window:
- Click
in one of the following locations:
- In the Columns section of the Column
Definitions view in the IBM Table Designer.
- In the Function Parameters section of
the Function view in the IBM Function Designer.
(DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows table function)
In the Function Return Type section of
the Function view in the IBM Function Designer.
- In the Result Set Definitions window.
- Schema name
- Select a schema name. The default value is the user ID for the
data connection that you are using.
- Available
- Displays the available tables and columns for the specified
schema.
- Move right
- Moves the selected column or columns in the Available
list to the Selected list.
- Move left
- Moves the selected column or column in the Selected
list to the Available list.
- Selected
- Displays the selected columns and their data types.
