IBM Data Connection
Use the IBM Data Connection window to select the IBM® data
server that you want to use with an IBM database project.
To open the IBM Data Connection window:
- To open the window for an IBM database project that you are creating:
- From the File menu, select New, and then select
Project.
The New Project window opens.
- In the Project types tree, select the IBM Projects
node.
- In the Templates box, select the IBM Database Project
template.
- Specify a name and location for the IBM database project.
- Specify the solution information. The solution fields that are
shown depend on whether you have a solution open in the IDE.
- Click OK.
- To open the window for an IBM database project that is open in the Solution
Explorer:
- Right-click the project, and then select Properties
on the shortcut menu.
- In the Property Pages window, click
for the
Data Connection property.
- Connection name
- Select the name of the IBM data server on which to build the project.
- New Connection
- Click to open the Add Connection window, where you can define a new
data connection.
