After you add an IBM data connection, the contents of the IBM database are shown in the Server Explorer under the data connection. By default, all of the database objects of a given type are shown together, regardless of the schema to which they are assigned. If more than one schema is defined in your database, you can organize the database objects by schema to locate them more readily.
Note: The schemas and database objects that are shown in the Server Explorer are subject to the schema and object filters that are specified for your data connection. You can review the schema and object filters in the Modify Connection window.
To group IBM database objects by schema:
The schemas in your database are shown as the high-level nodes under your data connection in the Server Explorer. Only the schemas that meet the filter option that you specified in the data connection are shown. The database objects are organized under the schema to which they are assigned.
You can change from the schema view back to the default view at any time by selecting the alternate command on the Change View submenu.
