Configuring the operating system for database application development
Part of configuring for Db2® database application development is configuring operating system local and global environment variables.
Before you begin
To configure environment variables for Db2 database application
development, you must have:
- A supported operating system

- A IBM Data Server Client installed
Procedure
To configure environment variables for Db2 database application development:
Perform one of the following tasks:
- For UNIX operating systems, Setting up the application development environment (Linux and UNIX).
- For Windows operating systems, Setting up the application development environment (Windows)
