In the Privileges view of the following designers,
you define the users who can access the specific database object
that you are defining:

IBM Web Service Function Designer
If your DB2® server is on a Windows®,
Linux®, or UNIX® operating system, you can also
specify access privileges for user groups.
You can also specify access privileges for roles.
Roles
In this section, you create the roles for which you want
to set access privileges.
Create Role
The roles in this list are the choices
from which you can select in the
Identifier list in the
Privileges section.
Name
Type the name that you want to assign
to the role that you are creating.
Privileges
In this section, you add the users, groups (DB2 on Linux, UNIX,
and Windows), and roles (IDS), and set their access privileges.
Users
In this list you add the users for whom you want to
specify access privileges.
On Windows, Linux, or UNIX, you can add user groups also.
You can add roles also.
Type
Select whether you defining the access privileges for a user,
a group (DB2), or a role (IDS).
Identifier
Select or type the identifier for the user, group (DB2),
or role (IDS).
User Privileges
In this list you specify the access privileges for the user,
group (DB2), or role (IDS) that is selected in the Users list.
An access privilege can have one of the following values:
Yes: User can access the table, view, SQL
procedure, function, table function, or Web service function.
No: User cannot access the table, view, SQL
procedure, function, table function, or Web service function.
Grant: User can specify access privileges for
other users.
Grant All
Sets the value of all the access privileges to Grant.
If the Grant option is not available for a specific privilege,
the value for that privilege is set to Yes.
Allow All
Sets the value of all the access privileges to Yes.
Revoke All
Sets the value of all the access privileges to No.
