IBM Data Web Service Designer - Advanced Options  (DB2)

Use the Advanced Options window to specify information for configuring local Web servers that you can deploy Web services to.

To open the Advanced Options window:


Type
Select one of the supported types of Web server.
Server
If you are deploying to a local Web server that is listed, select the server. If the Web server that you want is not listed, click New to open the New Server window, where you can identify the Web server.
Parameters
Lists the values for parameters that are specific to the selected Web server. You can add additional parameters and set their values.

You can also delete any parameter that is not required. The - button is not available if you select a required parameter.

Name
Identifies the name of the parameter. Names must be unique, must conform to the naming rules, and cannot exceed 128 characters.

If the selected Web server requires a parameter, a required icon is shown, and the parameter name cell has a gray background.

Value
Optionally specify a value for the parameter. You must specify a value for a required parameter.
Set as default
Select this check box if you want to use this Web server configuration as the default for deploying the Web services that you create.

Important: If this is the first time that you configured a Web server connection, this configuration becomes the default for deploying the Web services that you create, even if you do not select this check box.

Open the Invoke Web Service Method dialog box after deployment
Select this check box if you want to run a Web service after you save and deploy it.
