While you are annotating an XML schema in the IBM XML Schema Mapping Designer, the right pane can become cluttered with target tables and map links. To clear your work area, you can hide tables and map links from display.
When you hide a map link, only the portion of the map link that is in the right pane is hidden. The portion of the map link that is in the Source XML schema pane remains displayed. When you hide a target table, all map links to columns in the table are also hidden.
Requirement: An annotated XML schema must be open in the IBM XML Schema Mapping Designer, with one or more tables and map links displayed.
To hide a target table or a map link:
The target table or map link that you selected is no longer displayed in the right pane. To see all the target tables and map links in the editor, you can redisplay the hidden target tables and map links.
