To define the association between elements and attributes in an XML schema and columns in DB2® relational database tables, you must select the target database tables. The tables can be located in one or more database schemas in your DB2 data connection.
You can either drag tables from your data connection in the Server Explorer, or you can select them from a list.
Requirement: An instance of the IBM XML Schema Mapping Designer must be open, with an XML schema displayed in the Source XML schema pane.
To add target tables for XML mapping:
The Add Table window opens.
Use the Ctrl or Shift key to select multiple tables.
A graphic of each table that you dragged or selected is displayed in the right pane of the editor. You can arrange the table graphics so that they are easy to map to.
