Support for database application development in R

Application development for Db2 databases by using the R language is supported through the RIBMDB API.

The API is supported on the following platforms:
  • Windows64
  • MacOS64
  • Linuxx64
  • Linuxia32
  • AIX

Note: On Windows systems, a compiler is optional as the RIBMDB API comes with a precompiled binary on Windows64 for R version 3.x or higher.
