Installing IBM Global Security Kit with the installp command line tool

To install IBM® Global Security Kit (GSKit) Version 8 for PPC64 systems using the installp command, follow these steps.

Before you begin

The following example assumes that the IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit) Version 8 packages have been copied and decompressed in the /tmp/gsk8 folder.

About this task

This procedure uses the IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit) Version 8 PPC64 packages as an example. The GSKit Version 8 PPC32 packages can replace the PPC64 in the procedure steps, if required.

Procedure

Run the inutoc command
For example:
```
inutoc /tmp/gsk8
```

Run the installp command.

For example:

installp -acgqw  -d /tmp/gsk8 IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit)8.gskcrypt64.ppc.rte \
 						GSKit8.gskssl64.ppc.rte
