Alerts will be generated automatically if conditions or best practices are not met.

Db2 Lightspeed RDMA ping

A smarter, faster, and more comprehensive Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) connectivity validation among all RDMA capable adapters in a Db2 pureScale cluster.

This enhancement can be performed either prior to a Db2 installation via the db2prereqcheck -adapter_list option, or after an instance setup via the db2cluster -verify -req -rdma_ping option. The improvement is available by default once the cluster is committed to the new Db2 level.
