The Sequences View

The Sequences View shows the sequences of a model with their characteristics, for example, Support or Time Mean.

The following figure shows the Sequences View:
Figure 1. The Sequences View

Sequences are a superset of the sequence rules of a model. A sequence is an ordered succession of item sets. Typically, these item sets are ordered by time and represent events. Models can include sequences, however, they do not need to have sequence rules.

The Sequences View can display the sequences in tabular form or in textual form.

At the bottom of the window, the legend shows how to interpret the color coding. For example, you might have specified red for the maximum value of a characteristic, and blue for its minimum value. Double-clicking the legend displays the appropriate page of the Model Properties notebook to change the color coding for the current model.

The Sequences View can display the sequences in tabular or in textual form.
  • The tabular view includes the characteristics of a sequence.
  • The textual view might display a sequence like this:
    Sequence:
    [Toy car] >>> [Toy car]+[Puzle(1000p) >>> [Lemonade] Support: 0.58% Lift: 15

To display the sequences in textual format, click View => Show Sequences As => Text.

To display the sequences in tabular format, click View => Show Sequences As => Table.
