Adding vertical or horizontal lines

You can add vertical or horizontal lines to the charts of the Gains/Lift View. These lines help you to identify where the corresponding point is located on the curve in the chart when you are looking at a particular data row in one of the chart data tables.

About this task

The horizontal and vertical lines are correlated to the values of a selected row in a chart data table. If you select a row in a chart data table, a vertical line related to the selected record value and horizontal lines related to all curves are displayed in the chart.

If you select several rows in the table, the lines in the chart are correlated to the values of the first row that you selected.

If you added curves of other models to the chart and selected a row in the table, a horizontal line for each model is displayed from the selected value on the x-coordinate.

If you select a row in one of the tables of the Chart Data section, the correlated row in the other table is also selected.

To add vertical or horizontal lines to the chart, follow these steps:

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar of the visualizer, click File => Model Properties... or Visualizer Properties... to display the Properties notebook.

    You can also right-click the mouse button and select Customize Gains/Lift... from the pop-up window.

  2. On the Gains/Lift page of the Properties notebook, select the Vertical/horizontal line for selected check box.
  3. In one of the data chart tables, select at least one row.
