Authorization for Db2 to access coupling facility structures

Optionally, you can set up a facility class profile to limit access to the structures in the coupling facility.

If you do this, ensure that Db2 does have access by ensuring that the IDs that are associated with the Db2 address spaces have alter access authority to the coupling facility structures through RESOURCE(IXLSTR.structure_name) in SAF class CLASS(FACILITY).

If you do not create a facility class profile, the default allows any authorized user or program (supervisor state and program key mask allowing key 0-7) to issue coupling facility macros for the structure.
