Job DSNTEJ61

Job DSNTEJ61 prepares sample stored procedure DSN8EC1, which uses ODBA. DSN8EC1 can add, update, delete, and display telephone directory records from the IMS sample database, DFSIVD1. DSN8EC1 shows how the AERTDLI API is used to issue IMS DL/I calls.

The installation CLIST edits this job only if the following conditions are met:

  • You specified AUTO or COMMAND in the DDF STARTUP OPTION field of panel DSNTIPR.
  • You specified a name in the WLM ENVIRONMENT field of panel DSNTIPX.
  • You specified a name in the REMOTE LOCATION field of panel DSNTIPY. The name can match the name that is specified in the DB2 LOCATION NAME field of panel DSNTIPR.

Before running job DSNTEJ61, read the dependencies information of the job prolog to verify that the server site is correctly configured and has a connection to an IMS subsystem.

If DSNTEJ61 runs successfully, it produces the return codes that are shown in the table below.
