JAVA RUNTIME field
The absolute path of the HFS/zFS directory that contains the native library (DLLs) provided by z/OS Unix System Services (z/OS Unix). Verify that this directory contains libGXLNVBAT.so, the DLL for z/OS XML System Services.

This directory is provided by z/OS and is referenced by the LIBPATH variable in the file specified in the JAVA ENV VAR FILE field. If you do not use Java, just accept the default setting.
