INSTALL SQL ID field

The INSTALL SQL ID field specifies the CURRENT SQLID setting that is to be used when SQL is processed by most Db2 installation and sample jobs.

The INSTALL SQL ID does not apply to the DSNTIJRT and DSNTIJRV jobs. For these jobs, use the ROUTINES CREATOR and SEC DEF CREATOR fields, to specify the CURRENT SQLID.

Acceptable values: 1–8 characters. The first character must be alphabetic.
Default: SYSADM
Update: option 6 on panel DSNTIPB
DSNZPxxx: none

The installation CLIST assigns the value of this field as the value of CURRENT SQLID for installation jobs except DSNTIJRT and DSNTIJRV.

If you use the installation SYSOPR authority for Db2 installation, specify an installation system administrator ID. For Db2 migration, specify in the INSTALL PKG OWNER field an authorization ID with at least DBADM WITHOUT ACCESSCTRL authorization. Also, set the ROUTINES CREATOR, SEC DEF CREATOR, and INSTALL SQL ID fields to SYSINSTL.
