CURRENT FUNCTION LEVEL field
The value of the CURRENT FUNCTION LEVEL field indicates the currently activated Db2 function level for certain situations.
Acceptable values: | function-level |
---|---|

Update | None |
DSNZPxxx: | None |
- function-level
- The current activated function level. The format is
VvvRrMmmm
, where vv is the version, r is the release, and mmm is the modification level. For example,V13R1M505
identifies function level 505. For a list of all available function levels in Db2 13, see Db2 13 function levels.
How the CLIST uses this field depends on the INSTALL TYPE value that you specify on panel DSNTIPA1:
- For ACTIVATE, the CURRENT FUNCTION LEVEL field is set to the FUNCLVL value from the input DSNTIDxx member. You can change the value. The CLIST uses this field and the TARGET FUNCTION LEVEL field to generate the correct set of jobs required to activate the specified target function level.
- For other INSTALL TYPE values, the CURRENT FUNCTION LEVEL field is blank and cannot be changed.
z/OSMF migration
The CURRENT FUNCTION LEVEL field value is never a z/OSMF variable and cannot be selected as such.
