LANGUAGE DEFAULT field (DEFLANG DECP value)

The DEFLANG DECP value identifies the default programming language that is to be used for your site.

Acceptable values: ASM, C, CPP, FORTRAN, IBMCOB, PLI
Default: IBMCOB

ASM
Specifies High Level Assembler/MVS as the default programming language.
C
Specifies C as the default programming language. If you specify C, you can fold SQL identifiers to uppercase. However, this is not a default from any installation panel.
CPP
Specifies C++ as the default programming language. If you specify CPP, you can fold SQL identifiers to uppercase. However, this is not a default from any installation panel.
FORTRAN
Specifies Fortran as the default programming language.
IBMCOB
Specifies Enterprise COBOL for z/OS® as the default programming language.
PLI
Specifies PL/I as the default programming language.
