DB2 VTAM PASSWORD field
The optional DB2 VTAM® PASSWORD field specifies the password that VTAM is to use to recognize this Db2 subsystem.

The password must begin with a letter and must not contain special characters.
This password must also be supplied to VTAM on the VTAM APPL definition statement.
If the DB2 TCP/IP IPNAME is set, TCP/IP communication is started but not SNA communications, regardless if there is a value for LUNAME. Inbound and outbound communications over TCP/IP are allowed, but Db2 makes no attempt to activate VTAM communications support.
