AUTH EXIT LIMIT field (AEXITLIM subsystem parameter)
The AEXITLIM subsystem parameter controls the number of abends of the Db2 access control authorization exit routine that are to be tolerated before it is shut down.
Acceptable values: | 0–32767 |
---|---|
Default: | 10 |
Update: | option 38 on panel DSNTIPB |
DSNZPxxx: | DSN6SPRM AEXITLIM |
After the exit routine shuts down, it can be reactivated only by restarting Db2. A very low setting for the AUTH EXIT LIMIT field might cause the exit routine to shut down in response to routine abends such as timeouts. A very high setting, on the other hand, may mask a problem with the exit routine environment that can result in degraded Db2 or system performance.
