Job DSNTEJBI

DSNTEJBI defines and prepares the IBM® InfoSphere® BigInsights® sample user-defined functions.

The installation CLIST does not customize job DSNTEJBI. Follow the instructions in the DSNTEJBI prolog to manually customize the job.

The IBM InfoSphere BigInsights sample user-defined functions are:

Function Description
HDFS_READ Reads data from a delimiter-separated file in the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
JAQL_SUBMIT Invokes an IBM InfoSphere BigInsights Jaql query.

Job DSNTEJBI contains the steps that are listed in the table below.

3 Grants access to the SYSFUN.HDFS_READ and SYSFUN.JAQL_SUBMIT user-defined functions.
4 Prepares program DSN8GLIB, which contains functions for accessing generic table functions.1
5 Prepares program DSN8HLIB, which contains functions for HTTP access.2
6 Prepares program DSN8HDFS, the external module for user-defined function SYSFUN.HDFS_READ.1
7 Prepares program DSN8JAQL, the external module for user-defined function SYSFUN.JAQL_SUBMIT.1

If DSNTEJBI runs successfully, it produces the return codes that are shown in the table below.
