Enabling AI query by using SQL DI web UI

You can use the SQL DI web UI to connect to Db2, create AI objects, enable the objects for AI query, and run queries.

Creating, modifying, or removing a connection from SQL DI to Db2 with web UI
After successful installation and configuration, connect your SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) application to your Db2 system or data sharing group. This secure JDBC connection is required for SQL DI to access your Db2 user tables or views. You can create and activate a connection on the Connections page of the SQL DI web UI.
Adding or removing an AI object with SQL DI web UI
SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) executes AI functions on a Db2 user table or view through a corresponding AI object that is enabled for AI query. AI objects are associated with a specific connection. You can add and manage AI objects for a connection on the AI objects page of the SQL DI web UI.
Enabling or disabling AI query with SQL DI web UI
You can enable an AI object for AI query when or after the object is created. Enabling AI query trains a neural network model for the object based on the data in the columns you select and optionally the NULL values you specify. You can enable an object for AI query on the AI objects page of the SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) web UI.
Retraining the model of an object with SQL DI web UI
Enabling an object for AI query trains a neural network model based on the data you select, and SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) uses the model to discover hidden relationships in the data and generate meaningful insights. As the data change, the accuracy of the model may degrade over time. When needed, you can retrain the model if it's eligible. You can retrain the model on the AI objects page of the SQL DI user interface.
Deploying the retrained model of an object with SQL DI web UI
After you successfully retrained a model for an object, you can deploy it for use on the AI objects page of the SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) user interface.
Removing the retrained model of an object with SQL DI web UI
You can delete the retrained model of an AI object before it is not deployed or if you don't plan to use it. You can remove the model on the AI objects page of the SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) user interface.
Viewing an AI object model with SQL DI web UI
When an AI object is enabled for AI query, SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) creates and trains a model for the object. You can view the model on the Model details page of the SQL DI user interface.
Running an AI query with SQL DI web UI
After an AI object is enabled for AI query, you can run queries on the object on the AI objects page of the SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) user interface.
Analyzing data with SQL DI web UI
When training the model for an AI object, SQL Data Insights (SQL DI) collects key data statistics and renders them into metric scores for the model. The visualized scores can help you understand the results of AI queries on the object. You can view the data statistics and model scores on the Analyze data page of the SQL DI web UI.
