The IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ

If you plan to run JDBC or SQLJ applications in z/OS UNIX System Services that access Db2 for z/OS data servers, you need to install the current version of the IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ.

Java stored procedures and user-defined functions are examples of Java programs that run in z/OS UNIX System Services and access Db2 for z/OS data servers.

You must install Db2 for z/OS or migrate to the current version of Db2 for z/OS before you install the IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ.
