
Product identifier (PRDID) values in Db2 for z/OS
A product identifier (PRDID) is an 8-byte character value that identifies a specific data base product in a distributed data environment.
The format of 8-byte PRDID values is pppvvrrm, with the following parts:
- ppp
- A three-letter product code. For example:
- AQT
- IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS
- ARI
- Db2 server for VSE and VM
- DSN
- Db2 for z/OS
- HTP
- Non-secure HTTP URL connections for Db2 native REST services
- HTS
- secure HTTPS connections for Db2 native REST services
- JCC
- IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ
- LRT
- Connections requesting log records from asynchronous log reader tasks
- QSQ
- Db2 for i
- SQL
- Db2 for Linux®, UNIX, and Windows

- The product version number.
- rr
- The product release number, which is usually 01 for Db2 for z/OS.
- m
- A single letter or numeral (0–9 or A–Z) for the modification level. For Db2 for z/OS, the modification level indicates the function level.

Supported Db2 for z/OS products use the following PRDID values:
