Starting online utilities

Db2 utilities can dynamically create object lists from a pattern-matching expression and can dynamically allocate the data sets that are required to process those objects.

Procedure

To start a Db2 utility:

Prepare an appropriate set of JCL statements for a utility job.

The input stream for that job must include Db2 utility control statements.
