Data recovery after disabling Db2 data sharing

After Db2 data sharing is disabled, you cannot recover to the current point or to a previous point in time if that recovery depends on any portion of the log that was made before you disabled data sharing.

Therefore, if the table space is updated between the time of the copy and the time you disabled data sharing, Db2 does not let you use that copy as the basis for recovery. This is why you should create a new recovery point as soon as possible after you have disabled data sharing.
