Update LUNAMES to associate modes with LU names
The LUNAMES table associates a mode with each remote system that the local subsystem can send a query to.
About this task
You can specify the following type of connections in this table:
- SQL processing conversations
- For DRDA access, an SQL processing conversation is established. The mode name for SQL processing conversations is determined by the MODESELECT table of the CDB. If the MODESELECT column of LUNAMES table is blank or contains N, then the default mode (IBMRDB) is used. If it contains a Y, then MODESELECT is searched.
