Sample jobs for installing and migrating with z/OSMF

The following sample jobs are used by z/OSMF workflows for automating the installation or migration of Db2 subsystems.

Job DSNTIJDC
The DSNTIJDC sample job creates image copies of the Db2 catalog and directory. It is used by z/OSMF worklflows for automating the installation or migration of Db2 subsystems.
Job DSNTIJSO
The DSNTIJSO sample job stops Db2 by calling the DSNTMVSB stand-alone program. It is used by z/OSMF worklflows for automating the installation or migration of Db2 subsystems.
Job DSNTIJSA
The DSNTIJSA sample job starts Db2 by calling the DSNTMVSB stand-alone program. It is used by z/OSMF worklflows for automating the installation or migration of Db2 subsystems.
Job DSNTIJMB
Job DSNTIJMB runs the DSNTMVSB batch program tool to issue START DB2 and STOP DB2 commands.
DSNTMVSB tool
The DSNTIMVSB tool provides a batch interface for starting and stopping Db2. This tool is invoked by sample jobs DSNTIJSA and DSNTIJSO to support z/OSMF workflows for automating installation and migration of Db2 subsystems.
Job DSNTIJOZ: bring Db2 subsystem parameter changes online
Job DSNTIJOZ runs a SET SYSPARM command to bring subsystem parameter changes online.
