Using the phone application in IMS

When you use IMS, information is interactively processed.

Procedure

To begin using the phone application in IMS:

Clear the screen and type in a FORMAT command. The FORMAT command that starts PL/I phone application is:

/FORMAT DSN8IPNO

When the FORMAT command is entered, the panel that is shown in the following figure is displayed.
