UTIL TEMP STORCLAS field (UTIL_TEMP_STORCLAS subsystem parameter)
The UTIL_TEMP_STORCLAS subsystem parameter specifies the storage class that the CHECK INDEX, CHECK DATA, and CHECK LOB utilities are to use when allocating temporary shadow data sets. (These utilities allocate shadow data sets when you specify the SHRLEVEL CHANGE option.)

The default value of blank indicates that the shadow data sets are to be defined in the same storage class as the production page set.
Recommendation: Specifying
an explicit storage class for this subsystem parameter can improve
performance, especially when the system uses paired disk volumes for
peer to peer remote copy.
