The SMP/E target data set name typically includes the qualifier SCEEMSGP. SCEEMSGP is required to pre-link edit load modules for C, C++, COBOL, and PL/I application programs. The value that you enter here is used to customize Db2 language procedures and the DSNH CLIST.
