Modifying Db2 Data Management Console ports

IBM® Db2® Data Management Console opens several ports by default. You can change the port configuration when these ports are already used by another process.

Before you begin

Find the Home <dmc_home> directory of IBM Db2 Data Management Console. For more information, see Locating Db2 Data Management Console home directory.

About this task

This task provides information on the ports that are used by Db2 Data Management Console and the steps to modify the port configuration.

Procedure

To modify the port configuration:

  1. Stop the console.
  2. Go to the port location and edit the port value as required. Refer to the following table for details.

    11080 <dmc_home>/wlp/usr/servers/dsweb/bootstrap.properties

    The HTTP port that is used to access the IBM Db2 Console web console from a web browser.

    https.port

    11081 <dmc_home>/wlp/usr/servers/dsweb/bootstrap.properties

    The HTTPS secure port that is used to access the IBM Db2 Console web console from a web browser.

    internal.port

    11082 <dmc_home>/wlp/usr/servers/dsweb/bootstrap.properties Internal port for the IBM Db2 Console server

    job.http.port

    11088 <dmc_home>/wlp/usr/servers/dsweb/bootstrap.properties Job-scheduler service port

  3. Start the console.

Results

IBM Db2 Data Management Console starts uses the newly configured ports.
