Set up IBM® Data

default settings by extracting the product archive and running the setup program.
Procedure
To set up DSM:
- Run the setup program.
The setup program is

the following folder:
C:\DSM\ibm-datasrvrmgr\setup.bat
- Windows: Run the setup_directory/ibm-datasrvrmgr/setup.bat
file as a user with Administrator privileges.
- Linux and UNIX: Run the
setup_directory/ibm-datasrvrmgr/setup.sh file as a user ID
with write access to the setup_directory directory.
- Respond to the setup program prompts:
- License agreement

you accept its terms.

and to stop the server.
What to do next
Log in to the DSM web console as the default administrator user ID that you
specified. Use one of the following URLs:
http://server_host_name_or_ip:http_port/console
https://server_host_name_or_ip:https_port/console
Note: When using versions of DSM older than V2.1.5, omit /console from the URL
path.
Use the user ID and the password that you
specified to log in to the web console. After you
open the web console, configure the product.
