You can use the IBM™ Db2 Bridge® application to access and manage database connections, monitor health checks, configure and run Db2 Bridge definitions, and view licensing details.
Procedure
- Log in to IBM™ Db2 Bridge® UI by using the following URL: https://{hostname/ip}:14080. Ensure that the port number used here is same as the one that is configured during the Db2 Bridge® setup.
- Enter the username and password that you have created during the setup of the Db2 Bridge.
-
Click Sign in. Once the credentials are validated, you will be redirected to the IBM™ Db2 Bridge® home page.
The IBM™ Db2 Bridge® home page is divided into three key sections—Connections, Upgrade Check, and Db2 Bridge.
- Through the Connections section, you can add new database connections (Db2 or Teradata). Once database connections are saved, you can also view the list of all connections that are used in Db2 Bridge along with their current status.
- The Upgrade Check sub-section displays the timestamp and link to the most recent health check for the database.
- Through the Db2 Bridge section, you can create and configure Db2 Bridge definitions. You can also view the summary and execution status of all defined migrations.
Use the View details link in each section to access the related page within the application.
IBM™ Db2 Bridge® comes with a default 30-day trial license. After the trial period has ended, you need to apply an activation key to continue to use the product. For more information, see Activating the Db2 Bridge license.
