You can deploy Db2 Big SQL in two different topologies: Colocated on the same nodes as other Hadoop services such as the HDFS DataNodes, or in dedicated edge nodes.

Extract the Db2 Big SQL installation files that are needed to do an offline install of Db2 Big SQL.
Installing the Cloudera Manager python client
If you are installing Db2 Big SQL on a cluster that does not have access to the internet, you must manually install the Cloudera Manager python client.
