Enabling Governance Engine

Procedure

  1. Bring up Governance Engine by following the instructions provided in Bringing Governance Engine Online.
  2. Share the following information with the IBM Support team to enable Governance Engine.
    1. Governance Engine logs
      Run the following command to the logs: 
      journalctl -f

    2. Subscription ID, Instance ID, and CSR file name.
      Tip: You need to provide the Subscription ID, Instance ID, and CSR file name, provided to IBM during onboarding. For more information, see Onboarding: Governance Engine.

What to do next

After you receive confirmation from IBM, reboot the Governance Engine and verify that the health check is successful.

Generate the Governance Engine logs by running the following command:

journalctl -f

If the Governance Engine is enabled, the health check output displays Healthcheck OK.
