Backup of Data Volume

The backup process involves creating a copy of the data volume from the source system and securely storing it for future recovery.

Before you begin

Before starting the backup and recovery process, ensure the following:
  • Ensure that the primary and target LPARs use the same Master Key.
  • The following Terraform variables are identical on the target LPAR:
    • SECRET
    • MKVP
  • The signed client certificate, CA certificate, and private key are the same on both LPARs.
  • Ensure the Target LPAR IP is allowlisted.
  • The Governance Engine instance on the primary LPAR is in a shutdown state before bringing it online on the target LPAR.
