Set up Borderless and initiate stablecoin-to-fiat payouts from the IBM Digital Asset Haven dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:
  • Borderless account with completed KYB verification
  • Borderless API key
  • IBM Digital Asset Haven wallet holding USDC on a supported network

Connect Borderless

  1. In the dashboard, go to Settings > Borderless.
  2. Paste your Borderless API key and click Activate.
Once activated, the Pay Out option appears for supported wallet assets.

Initiate a payout

  1. Navigate to a wallet, select a USDC asset, and click Pay Out.
  2. Enter the payout amount and select the destination country.
  3. lick Get Quote. The dashboard displays the estimated fiat amount and fees from Borderless.
  4. Provide the following payout details:
    • Payment purpose: Reason for the payment (for example, salary or service charge)
    • Borderless account: Account funding the payout
    • Payment instructions: Destination bank account
  5. Review the payout summary, then click Confirm.
  6. When Borderless returns a deposit address, the dashboard prompts you to confirm the on-chain transfer. Click Confirm Transfer to approve the transfer.
After confirmation, the payout enters the settlement process.

The payout status changes to Completed once Borderless confirms that fiat has been disbursed to the destination bank account.
