Removing an Ethernet interface from the network

How to remove an Ethernet interface from the network.

About this task

Availability: Only administrators in the default domain with appropriate permissions.

The administrative state of an Ethernet interface can be changed from On to Off while Ethernet cables are still physically connected to the DataPower® Gateway. Use this method to remove the DataPower Gateway from the network without physically removing network cables.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter ethernet.
  2. From the search results, click Ethernet Interface.
  3. Set Administrative state to Off.
  4. Click Apply to save changes to the running configuration.
  5. Click Save to save changes to the persisted configuration.
