Web management service commands

Web management service mode provides the commands to define access and availability of the web management service.

To enter the mode, use the Global web-mgmt command.

While in this mode, use the commands in the following table to modify the web management service.

  • To view the current configuration, use the show command.
  • To restore default values, use the reset command.
  • To exit this configuration mode without saving changes to the running configuration, use the cancel command.
  • To exit this configuration mode and save changes to the running configuration, use the exit command.

Command Purpose
admin-state This command sets the administrative state for the configuration.
enable-sts This command controls whether to inject HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers.
idle-timeout This command specifies the idle-session timer for the web management service.
local-address This command changes the local address and port that the web management service monitors for requests.
port This command changes the listening port for the web management service.
save-config-overwrite This command defines the system behavior when a running configuration is saved.
ssl-config-type This command sets the TLS profile type for the web management interface.
ssl-server This command associates a TLS server profile with the web management interface.
ssl-sni-server This command associates a TLS SNI server profile with the web management interface.
summary This command specifies the brief, descriptive summary for the object instance.
user-agent This command associates a user agent with the web management service.
