Creating a TCP proxy service
A TCP proxy service uses a TCP connection to forward all traffic from a local address to a remote peer.
About this task
In this configuration, the administrative state property is read-only.
Procedure
- In the search field, enter tcp.
- From the search results, click TCP proxy service.
- Click Add.
- In the Name field, enter the name for the configuration.
- In the Local IP address, specify the local IP address to
monitor. If the local address is
0.0.0.0, the service binds to all local interfaces. - From the Service priority list, select a priority for scheduling or resource allocation.
- In the Port number field, specify the port to monitor.
- In the Remote host field, specify the hostname or IP address of the remote host to send TCP traffic.
- In the Remote port field, specify the port on the remote host.
- In the Idle timeout field, specify the idle time that is allowed for the front-end and back-end connection.
- Click Apply to save changes to the running configuration.
- Click Save to save changes to the persisted configuration.
