Changing encryption settings for the storage partition

An administrator can change the encryption settings for the document storage partition of the RAID volume.

About this task

After installation, you can change the encryption settings for the document storage partition of the RAID array. The document storage partition can be encrypted with a passphrase or can be unencrypted. After changing settings, the array is rebuilt.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter raid.
  2. From the search results, click RAID Array.
  3. Click the name of the RAID array.
  4. Disable the RAID array.
    1. Change Administrative State to disabled.
    2. Click Apply to save changes to the running configuration.
  5. Change settings for partition encryption.
    1. Click Change Partition Encryption to open the dialog.
    2. Change the encryption setting.
    3. Click Change Partition Encryption.
    4. Follow the prompts.
      Note: Do not close the prompt dialogs or run another action against the RAID array until you receive confirmation that the action completed successfully.
  6. Re-enable the RAID array.
    1. Change Administrative State to enabled.
    2. Click Apply to save changes to the running configuration.
