Configuring API probe settings (deprecated)
To capture transaction data that the API gateway processes, the configuration for API probe settings must be defined and operational. API probe settings are deprecated, use probe settings.
About this task
The API probe is a utility that captures transaction data. This data can help you validate whether the API is defined properly and that the actions in the assembly are processed correctly. To capture these transactions, define probe settings. For more information, see Configuring probe settings for the new probe.
Probe settings use a gateway-peering instance to synchronize transaction data for an API gateway across peer group members. If you do not want to persist data across a restart, you can store this data in memory. For more information, see Gateway-peering modes.
