CRU part replacement
Replacement of a CRU is your responsibility. When you have the Business Critical support option for hardware, an IBM® representative can replace a CRU part.
For each CRU part replacement, each procedure has preparatory and follow-up actions.
Preparing for part replacement
- Understand the action plan as provided by IBM Support.
- Obtain the replacement part or parts through your normal process.
- Familiarize yourself with the procedure and all applicable safety information.
