Activating and deactivating the locator LED

A physical DataPower® Gateway has a locator LED that you can activate and deactivate to help you find the DataPower Gateway in a data center.

About this task

Availability: Only administrators in the default domain with the appropriate permissions. When you apply this action, the GUI does not indicate the state of the locate LED.

The locator LED is on the front of the DataPower Gateway.

  • When activated, the LED is illuminated in blue.
  • When deactivated, the LED is not illuminated.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter system.
  2. From the search results, click System control.
  3. Locate the Control locate LED section.
  4. Use the Blue locator LED property to activate or deactivate the locator LED.
    • To activate, enable the property.
    • To deactivate, disable the property.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Follow the prompts.
