Switching a replica to primary

How to manually switch a replica to primary in a peer group.

Before you begin

Ensure that the member is a replica and its operational state is up.

About this task

While the replica transitions to primary, transactions against the quota enforcement server fail. The duration of the switch action depends on connectivity among the peers.

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter quota.
  2. From the search results, click Quota Enforcement Server.
  3. Select Switch to primary for peer group from the actions list.
