Partner identifiers
In the configuration of a trading partner, its business identifier (ID) must be unique in the domain.
The business identifiers for trading partners are generally equivalent to one of the following values.
- For AS messages, a value for a message header.
- For the AS1 protocol,
ToorFrom - For the AS2 protocol,
AS2-ToorAS2-From - For the AS3 protocol,
AS3-ToorAS3-From
- For the AS1 protocol,
- For ebMS messages, a value for an
PartyIDelement, where thePartyIDelement can be under eitherFromorToelement. - A value that is extracted from the body (payload) of the EDI message:
SenderIDorReceiverID
