idg-mq-qm

This command enters IBM MQ v9+ Queue Manager mode.

Syntax

idg-mq-qm name

no idg-mq-qm name

Parameters

name
Specifies the name of the configuration. The name cannot be only one or more periods. The name can contain a maximum of 128 alphanumeric characters and the following special characters: . - _

Guidelines

The idg-mq-qm command enters IBM MQ v9+ Queue Manager mode to create or modify the local configuration of a queue manager.

A queue manager provides messaging services for communicating applications by periodically monitoring or polling queues,. A queue manager ensures that sent messages are directed to the correct receive queue, or that messages are routed to another queue manager.

Use the no idg-mq-qm command to delete a queue manager.
